The ideal gift for small architects who want to think big. The 30 foam blocks come in a range of shapes--triangles, rectangles, squares, arches, and so on--and range in size from 3.5 to 16 inches on a side. Made from a 2-inch-thick sandwich of colored foam, a typical piece might be yellow on one side, blue on the other, with green and red sandwiched in between. Because of their lightness and thickness, they can be built up easily and tall towers are fun and safe to demolish. With several sets you can create an entire neighborhood. They also float should you ever want to use them in the pool.

These lightweight foam blocks make it easy for toddlers and preschool children to build, yet are tough enough for older children. Each block has a 4-color "sandwiched" edge. Block sizes range from 4" to 15" long and are 2 1/8" thick. Set of 32. Ages 2+.
